Background History

The Middle East Office was first established in June 1996 as a small operating office to provide a local interface with our rapidly expanding customer base in this strategically important region.  The location of Jebel Ali Free Zone was chosen as it offered good governmental support with 100% foreign ownership, and an established mature infrastructure in place.

The immediate advantage of the office is the ability to be able to service our customer捴
s requirements within their own time frame. The Middle East region has a unique set of working hours that differ from the rest of the world. Friday is the Islamic holy day and work revolves around this fact, which if one then takes into account time differences in the region, could mean that a gap of some 3椒鴉 days might occur before problems or queries could be satisfactorily resolved. Having this fact in mind, CMP gives its customers the added benefit of service at the critical occasions when time is of the essence. Besides having the logistical support, CMP customer捴
s also benefit from having immediate access to essential technical data, whether it be assistance sought with product selection, addressing certification issues or even requesting on-site installation training.

Markets Served

CMP Products is able to service not only the markets immediately surrounding the Arabian Gulf but also those beyond the closer proximity of the UAE. Territories served include the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, Iran, Syria, India, Pakistan, North Africa, and even the former CIS states located around the Caspian Sea.
